I am a Facebook user I check my Facebook every day when I wake up and before I got to bed. I believe I am addicted I have Facebook linked to my phone so I can always check it no matter where I am at. I created me a Facebook before Facebook was even popular and never really used it. Once it became popular and everyone began to use it I began to use mine and upload pictures. Ever since then I began to use my Facebook daily. Yes I believe that this type of social networking has become addicting. There are people that I am friends with on Facebook that stay on there all day every day. People life revolves around Facebook; some people put their life stories on Facebook. I don’t have as many friends on Facebook as others but I have quite a few; I have 353 friends on Facebook. I am not cautious of what I put on Facebook; I got into a fight with my boyfriend and start posting stats about him without mentioning his name. He knew it was about him but others was wondering who I’m talking about. Because of that it cost me my relationship with my boyfriend. I don’t think that employers should surf Facebook pages of potential employees to determine if they will hire them because if my employer did that I don’t think I would have been hired. Some risks and dangers of being a Facebook user is that your family members; others risks are spam and hackers. I like the idea of businesses and television stations having a Facebook to interact with its customers or viewers.
My major is biology and I chose that field to study because I was told by my teacher that I needed to get a bachelor in biology to become a pediatrician. Also I always wanted to take up biology in college. I love kids and kids seem to love me; my mother always told me that I should pursue a career where I deal with kids because I am great with kids. I always wanted to be a doctor since the age of 6. Qualities that pediatricians generally need are they must be friendly, personable, and approachable. Also they must learn to instill trust and faith in their young patients and the parents. I am a very friendly and happy person every time you come around me you will notice I always have a smile on my face. I was never a mean type of person. I feel as though I am a very personable person and that’s a strong quality that I have. Once I graduate I haven’t really thought about which medical school I wanted to go to. My plan is to research a lot of medical schools and then apply to them and out of the ones that accept me I will see where they are located and decide if that’s where I want to be. I eventually want to pursue my career out of state in like Miami or Florida but for now I would like to attend a medical school close to home and my job which is looking like University of Cincinnati medical school.
